Then the decision to find out or not is made.<br /><br />No matter what you are going to love the mess out of Nani same as you do now.<br /><br />One of my budgies has a color mutation that causes the cere to be pink in males. Usually this is a good indication that the budgie is female. So I tend to think of my Bijou as my little drag queen romeo. My family used to own a conure named Mango that we always assumed was a &quot;he.&quot; For reasons that would take a lot of explaining, Mango eventually had to leave us and live in another home (I believe he went back to the breeder). Later, I&#39;m pretty sure we heard that Mango was actually a &quot;she.&quot; It felt strange to find that out after so many years thinking she was a he.<br /><br />In a weird way, I felt like if I&#39;d known, I would have done some things differently. Not that I would have treated her better or worse, because I loved Mango. I just mean that when you have a girl you tend to do more &quot;girly things,&quot; ya know?
