I've been a little behind in my postings, so many things going on. This incident happened about 2 months ago when there was still snow on the ground. It was a particularly nice day for us here in Minnesota, around 45° F. Snow was melting, birds were singing, sun was shining...a beautiful day. I was going in and out of our porch working on a project and it just so happens that Nani's play gym is close by. (I, of course, would shut the door behind me and was keeping a close eye on her) She kept beeping as she does when she wants something. Well like any good parent I told her she had to stay inside, that this weather was still not warm enough for little tropical birds from South America. And like most naughty little birds she didn't care one bit about what I had to say. So she sat there and calculated the exact moment I stepped out the door to jump over on my back. Little brat! She had her wings clipped so down into the snow she went. I happened to have my camera on because of the project I was working on and snapped a few photos before I brought her back inside. I guess even naughty little tropical birds get spring fever.
