Nani's Latest Trick: The Flip
Here's Nani's latest, the flip trick. It took her about 5 minutes to learn. I just held one of her toes and flipped her while giving her the command, then gave her a treat. When I stopped doing it for her she got the point and flipped all by herself. :-)

Nani is really good at flipping! Did you decide to teach her that because she already was good at flips in her cage?
Actually she had never done a flip before. She rolls around a lot and does other crazy stuff, but never a flip. I taught her the trick after I saw a video on youtube. There's a Ringneck parakeet named AJ that does all kinds of cool stuff including the flip. I thought it looked easy enough to teach. If you get a chance go on youtube and look up "AJ Indian Ringneck".
