Almost all Caiques surf, but just how they do it varies from bird to bird. "Surfing" refers to the apparent need to rub themselves all over some object whether it be your hair, a blanket, a toy, the floor, the dog, or any other place they decide is suitable. Nani likes...no, strike that...LOVES to surf on towels. She gets quite vigorous at times. This is also how she was injured a few weeks ago. Well today she wanted to "jump back in the saddle" and do some surfing. This time I was there to supervise! ๑۩ﺴ۩๑
